WORKED EXAMPLE / SYNTHETIC EVIDENCE

From evidence to
a useful artifact.

Investigate the change. Explain the system. Plan the story. Check what you ship.

A demonstration, not a product claim. The observations, assets and storyboard below are synthetic fixtures. They show how to preserve evidence and uncertainty—not a completed customer study, product video or agent-host evaluation.

01 / EXPLAIN THE SYSTEM

Make every connection inspectable.

A synthetic three-stage fixture. It illustrates source-linked explanation; it is not a diagram of an independently audited production system.

  1. 01

    Approved input

Start from an inspected and authorized input.

  2. 02

    Build the catalog

Transform the source into a discoverable representation.

  3. 03

    Render pages

Make the result readable without changing its claims.

Relationship evidence and text explanation
  • The fixture reads input before building the catalog.

The fixture pipeline reads approved input, builds a catalog, then renders pages.

EXACT EXCERPT / SEMANTIC REVIEW STILL REQUIRED
  • The fixture renders the catalog into pages.

02 / PLAN THE STORY

Fifteen seconds. One honest message.

Three contiguous shots at 30 frames per second. The roadmap stays labeled as a roadmap.

0–5sFixture capability

Show the problem the collection solves.

Find one focused skill.

SYNTHETIC ASSET / NOT A RENDERED VIDEO
5–10sFixture capability

Demonstrate search in the synthetic plan.

Read the procedure and its evidence.

SYNTHETIC ASSET / NOT A RENDERED VIDEO
10–15sPlanned feature

Clearly label the future capability as planned.

Remote execution is a future concept.

03 / CHECK THE ARTIFACT

Success needs more than an exit code.

Check what the record says.

Reject an unknown event date, unrun reproduction, unsupported diagram edge, or planned feature presented as available.

Inspect what was built.

Audit local canonical URLs and links. Probe and decode short media against an independent output contract. Keep semantic review separate.
